Ronstan and Vaikobi Renew Support for the International Switch Class in 2026

The International Switch Class has announced that global sailing brands Ronstan and Vaikobi will continue their support of the class in 2026, renewing partnerships that began during the 2025 season and reinforcing their commitment to one of the fastest-growing foiling sailing classes in the world.

Both companies were active sponsors throughout the 2025 racing calendar, supporting major regattas including the Switch Global Championship and national championship events. Their continued involvement reflects the growing momentum of the Switch Class and the increasing visibility of high-performance foiling competition.

Ronstan, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sailing hardware and equipment, has a long heritage in the sport dating back to 1953 and supplies performance components used by sailors ranging from dinghy racers to America’s Cup teams.   As a technical partner to the Switch Class, Ronstan provides high-quality hardware and engineering expertise that support the class’s performance standards and reliability on the water.

Vaikobi, the Australian performance watersports apparel brand founded in Sydney in 2012, also continues its involvement as a key class partner. The company specialises in technical clothing and protective gear for sailors, paddlers, and foilers, with products designed to maximise comfort, safety, and performance during high-intensity racing.

The partnership with Vaikobi was first highlighted during the 2025 Switch Global Championship in Malcesine on Lake Garda, where the brand announced its support for the class and provided equipment and apparel to help sailors compete at the highest level.

For the International Switch Class, the continued backing of industry leaders such as Ronstan and Vaikobi is an important part of its development strategy. The class has rapidly built an international racing calendar featuring training camps, Grand Prix events, and world championship competition, attracting elite sailors as well as new participants drawn to the excitement of one-design foiling racing.

With the 2026 season approaching, the renewed partnerships are expected to support further growth in fleet numbers, athlete development, and the expansion of global events.

As the Switch Class continues to establish itself as a major platform for high-performance foiling sailing, the involvement of respected marine brands like Ronstan and Vaikobi signals strong industry confidence in the class and its future.
