Italian Switch Class Announces 2026 National Calendar

The Italian Switch Class has confirmed its national racing calendar for the 2026 season, featuring five Grand Prix regattas alongside major international events.

Italy continues to be one of the strongest centres of activity for the Switch Class, with fleets racing regularly across several of the country’s premier sailing venues and a strong presence around Lake Garda, widely recognised as one of the world’s leading foiling sailing venues.

• Italian Switch Grand Prix 1 — Arzachena / Caprera — 20–22 March 2026

• Italian Switch Grand Prix 2 — Campione — 22–24 May 2026

• Italian Switch Grand Prix 3 — Torbole — 5–7 June 2026

• Foiling Week Italy (International Event) — Malcesine sul Garda — 28 June – 5 July 2026

• Italian Switch Grand Prix 4 — Dongo — 10–12 July 2026

• Italian Switch National Championship — Punta Ala — 9–11 October 2026

• Italian Switch Grand Prix 5 — Cagliari — 13–15 November 2026

The events will form part of the broader international Switch Class racing circuit, which continues to expand across Europe, North America and Asia.

Italy has played an important role in the development of the class internationally, with major events such as Foiling Week and the Switch Global Championship helping establish the country as a key hub for the discipline.
